Played in all 14 games for the Big Ten champion Buckeyes as a true sophomore in 2019. Finished the season with 14 tackles (10 solo) two tackles for loss, and one pass breakup. Had the best statistical game of his career in the Big Ten Championship Game, recording three tackles and one tackle for loss. In a win over Michigan State, recorded two tackles, one tackle for loss and a pass breakup. Played in five games for the Buckeyes in 2018 as a true freshman before a leg injury sidelined him for the remainder of the season.

Rated as the sixth-best player in the state of Missouri. Caught 58 passes for 934 yards and 13 touchdowns as a senior. Had 1,023 yards receiving with 11 touchdowns as a junior and four interceptions. CBC went 13-1 in 2017 and won its eighth straight MCC title. Caught four TD passes in a 42-35 victory over Vianney to clinch the conference title. Named to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch Super 30.
